Park View Apartment

Interior design, value engineering furnishing and concept development

This 70-year-old lady had an apartment overlooking a lush green park in the city centre. She wanted it to look modern enough to be appealing to her occasional Airbnb guests, but at the same time, have her classical and conservative personality. She had a dining table, old dining chairs and a few plants she wanted to keep. We must do it with an extremely tight budget

The chairs´ back were cut and reupholstered. I bought new furniture and decor in local stores and some antiques markets. The main feature of the space is the 18 wall-mounted mirrors which reflected the whole park back into the living and dining room. She had a preference for gold, so we bought modern pieces with golden finishes to create a timeless feel.

Mirrors are a big statement, providing views of the beautiful park
