The majority of the clientele of this renowned gynaecologist came from the social, political and entertainment elites of Peru. The doctor wanted his practice to be “Chic”. Seating had to be such that when the practice was busy, the clientele does not necessarily look at each other. He wanted to use his favourite colour: mustard.
The ultimate goal was to create a space that feels less like a typical doctor’s office and more like a trendy airport VIP lounge, where women can feel relaxed, at ease and even empowered. The buyer persona for this project was a stylish woman wearing a long mustard coat. I used bold colours to reflect the doctor’s strong personality and create a dramatic design scheme, but balanced it with warm materials that evoke his friendly and approachable manner during consultations.
