City Apartment for a Business Man

This client wanted this apartment to be a work meeting place, where he could also have some rest and sometimes even sleep over when he found himself away from his family home. He wanted to have the wow factor of a hip boutique hotel with a limited budget, so I must reuse most of the run-down furniture; sectional sofa, dining table set, tv stand and bed. 

I wanted to recreate the masculine environment of a cigar smoking room with the modernity of a city boutique hotel. This space wanted to transmit a gentleman´s private club feeling. I had the sofa, chairs and bed reupholstered. I used synthetic leather, dark fabrics and even cow throw for the armchair. I added new cushions, rugs, bed covers and accessories in general. I introduced new veneers in the existing furniture and walls as well as warm new lighting.
